Next, the band segued into a live debut performance of “Vibes,” a song written by Steve Martocci and performed as a celebratory surprise. The Disco Biscuits kicked off the show with “Spacebirdmatingcall,” off the 2001 LP, They Missed The Perfume, and continued with an invert version of “The Great Abyss. The two-set performance included a live debut of three new songs written by Martocci for the band and a Burning Man-style performance on the dance floor. The Disco Biscuits performed a private concert celebrating the co-founder of Splice, Group Me and BLADE, Steve Martocci’s 40th birthday over the weekend. ![]()
